Our office location is 432 South Main Street in the heart of Bel Air, MD.  The front of our building faces Main Street, with entrances both on Main Street and Kenmore Avenue directly across from Bel Air High School.

As a locally owned insurance agency, we have the ability to provide excellent customer service and fair pricing on a variety of insurance products including car insurance, home and renter’s insurance, comprehensive coverage for your business, and life insurance. In addition, we provide ancillary services such as notary, coverage review, insurance consulting, and policy analysis.

John Philip - President / Agency Owner

With over 29 years of service as a licensed Property, Casualty, Life, Health, and Financial Services professional, John enjoys meeting with his clients on a regular basis.  Nationwide Insurance Company has awarded John and his staff the highly regarded “On Your Side” customer service certification.  John Philip Insurance is also a “Farm Certified Agency.”

Having resided in Harford County for over 27 years, John proudly sponsors many local sports teams through his advertising and community service efforts.  John has four children which include his three daughters, Tina, Malisa, and Alicia, along with his son, John Landon.  He is an avid golfer, an animal lover and Baltimore Ravens fan.  He as two French Bulldogs, Paulie and Charlotte. John is a Notary Public offering notary service to all his clients.

Donna Young-Philip – Associate Agent / Office Manager

Donna has been a licensed Property, Casualty, Life, and Health agent for over 17 years.  In additon to her office manager responsibilities, Donna in skilled in all lines of insurance, but she is considered our commercial, farm, and flood insurance specialist.  Donna is a graduate of Bel Air High School, and Towson State University with a degree in Mass Communications / Advertising / Sales, as well as she holds her certification to teach secondary English.

Donna has one son, John Landon, who is the light of her life.

Dawn Clampet – Associate Agent / Customer Service

Dawn has been a licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent working in the industry for over 9 years.  She is our personal lines sales and service specialist, as well as our brokered business manager.  Dawn is also a Notary Public offering notary service to our clients.  Dawn is a graduate of Bel Air High School, and Nationwide’s Personal Lines Sales and Service School.

Dawn and her husband are the proud parents of a new baby boy, and she is lucky to still be able to work in the industry she loves.

Julie DiFuccia – Associate Agent / Customer Service

Julie joined our insurance team this past summer.  Julie is our retention specialist and she is always ready to help in any way she can.  Julie has many years of supervisory and management experience in the retail world, and there is no issue she can’t handle.

Julie is a graduate of The Catholic High School of Baltimore, and she and her husband Bob have three daughters – Morgan, Veronica, and Rachel.

Janis Tipton – Associate Agent / Sales

Janis has been a licensed Property, Casualty, Life, and Health agent for the past three years.  Janis is our multi-line insurance specialist, and she is confident she can provide you with the right coverage at the right price.  Having a strong insurance, and also a strong banking background makes Janis a great addition to our team.

Janis is a graduate of North Harford High School, and she has one son.

Paul Massari – Associate Agent / Sales / Marketing

Paul is the newest member of the John Philip Insurance team, but he has been fully licensed in the industry for over four years now. Paul is versed in all lines of insurance, but most of all, he is a strong believer in everyone’s need for Life Insurance as a part of their insurance portfolio. Paul also offers a variety of Annuities. He too is a notary public offering free of charge notary services to our clients.

Paul is a graduate of Perry Hall High School, and has studied business, finance, and marketing at the Community College of Baltimore County. Paul enjoys following the stock market and world financial issues, cooking, skiing, and spending time with his family and friends.
